It's very good, it beats the Hollywood production values
One of the most brutal and bloody episode in indian independence history told in a long heart wrenching scene make it a landmark in indian cinema. The scene is justified by the fact that Sardar Udham Singh avenged the massacre after 21 years.

Sardar Udham is a visually powerful, much-needed story of an unsung revolutionary who got lost in the history books. Shoojit Sircar warily presents the hard-hitting events of the darkest, horrendous criminal act by the British in the Jallianwala Bagh 1919 massacre. Vicky Kaushal is commendable and gives a striking performance throughout. He has completely engrossed himself in the character. The Britishers, the production value, the Cinematography all are of high standards. The screenplay is slow but absorbing enough to keep you hooked. The last hour of the film is heart-numbing and emotional. Sardar Udham is easily one of my new favorite historical films in Bollywood.
