Despite all the good critics that I read I didn't like it. Is touching and at times funny, yes, but at the end was just a stupid love story with some fantasy ending for me.

Guaranteed your time, I didn’t think much at first but that definitely changed and loved the ending.
Nice atmosphere,good perfomances and the strong part of this movie is unique plot..I liked it a lot it's not a masterpiece but something refresing which worths your time. 7.3/10
True mandela effect with this time traveling movie! Okay I feel obligated to share this weirdness. I watched this sometime in 2015-2016 and my trakt history says I didn't. Just watched again 2022. I remember this movie in detail, it was the first time I started to really like Aubrey Plaza. I very much like time travel stories and this was one of my favorites.
Thing is though, this movie changed several scenes and most importantly the end.... Apparently the end I saw was not how the movie actually ends now ??? Mandela effect? Time travel? WTF? Okay read spoiler If you want to know how I KNOW it used to end.
Originally it ended with Darius meeting up with Kennith after fighting and just before his trip back in time, he walked into the woods with her and a light flash occurs. You never actually see the time machine. Jeff and Arnau watch Darius come back alone. They ask her did he actually do it?! She displays a half surprised smile. Ends with her opening the box in the truck and pulling out a note to read.
Light and cute. Nothing was annoying, no huge mistakes in the story. I like that.
Didn't care at all for Jeff and Arnau's side story but it was worth it for the main story.
Sweet nice movie. Not mainstream but not hipster also. Great acting and writing. :D

I love this movie! For me it captures this sort of “second coming of age” kind of spirit. It’s a weird one, but I’ve come to learn that if the Duplass bros are involved I am most likely going to at least like it, if not love it.
Another perfect 10 for Aubrey Plaza who plays one-third of a journalistic team sent to interview and investigate a man who placed a Craigslist ad looking for a partner to travel back in time with. However, once she meets him, we see the unfolding of a very unique science fiction rom-com that leaves you guessing until the very last second. This film tickled my brain in all the right places and if you enjoy time travel and/or romance, I would definitely recommend this movie.

Utter waste of time, no idea where the RT ratings on this one are coming from. The half star is for Aubrey Plaza, the only good thing about the movie.
A sweet indie movie about loneliness with great cast, that unfortunately came out the same time as The Dark Knight and the real life 2012 Aurora Colorado shooting: the coincidence, that has probably turned a lot of people away because of the movie title.
This cast is too good for this movie not to be better. It’s good, don’t get me wrong. However, there is so many missed opportunities to be great! I’ve seen it plenty before and I’m sure I’ll watch it again as well. But I can’t help and feel it’s marginally disappointing.

The most bizarre thing I’ve ever watched. Only bothered sitting through the whole thing because of Aubrey and Jake and because I was super high but it was crazy boring and pointless.
Saw Aubrey Plaza on the Daily Show recently, IMDBd her and got this. Wow I'm so glad I did! What a fantastically touching film. These small budget films seem to have charm that the big budget ones can't match.
The scene where Jake Johnson is talking to Karan Soni about the joys of being 22 and wasting his life was powerful yet funny. The mutual love that grows between Plaza and Duplass was touching. 10/10 for me. Exactly my type of romantic film.
I love this movie. The cast is perfect, the writing is superb, and it makes me feel so many things in 90 minutes. Open your heart and mind and you'll love it.

This movie's genre is wrong. It's much more of a drama movie than a comedy. Great little movie with a ery original story and a neat way how it all plays out. Definitely recommended!

This was part comedy, part fantasy and part geek. I quite enjoyed it. More films should take chances like they did in this film.
