When it's not actively cribbing Roman Holiday this movie was just a pathetic mishmash with poor continuity (multiple scenes where it's raining from one perspective and sunny from another) and poor theming. This could have been good (and Tara Strong gives an adorable performance, and Melissa Joan Hart seemed to be having fun at least), but it seems like it was made on a very tight time crunch with no chance to properly establish things.
