I miss Robin Williams. This is a great look into the wonderful career of the man who is always entertaining. I wish they would of explored more of his life closer to the end and his problems with addiction more. Still this will make you laugh and cry.

One of the greatest losses this century, Williams is to be missed, not only for his tremendous humour, but also for the man beneath that, somebody loved by so many. I didn't know him, but I felt as if I knew him. I loved his comedy, relished Mork and Mindy as a kid, and his movies inspired me in so many ways, Dead Poets Society and Popeye in particular. Okay, perhaps not that last one! The doc is a moving tribute to the man, and while not as incisive as it could have been maybe, it still made my heart (and my funny bones) ache for him. God bless you Robin - I have seized the day so many times because of you - and I hope I see and hear more of you in Heaven. What dreams may come indeed!

A journey through the life of Robin Williams that, somehow, conveys a certain superficiality. Despite its title, the film does not manage to introduce us into the comedian's mind, But rather to cast a look, as effective as it is hollow, towards the trajectory of an actor who, beyond his charisma, proved to have a privileged mind. It is incomplete in an ending that tiptoes through the degenerative disease he suffered.

This was fairly interesting. I think the main problem that the director had is that Williams himself isn't terribly interesting. In comparison with the recent doc on Gary Shandling this film comes up way short because there were so many layers to Shandling.
