Rage 2016

It begins with a brutal crime scene to develop however an exploration of mistrust, social classes, regret and frustration that provokes rage. The three stories work separately, wrapped in beautifully filmed sequences and one of Ryuichi Sakamoto's most heartbreaking soundtracks. Although the criminal plot doesn't have the structural consistency that it should within the narratives, and sometimes seems too weak, the last half hour explodes with emotions and overflows with the traditional Japanese lack of expressiveness.
