Push 2009

Far from perfect but it's a fun ride. Really enjoyed the cast and concepts.

I remember seeing commercials and ads for Push for a short time, and being in a GameStop at Rockingham Mall thinking how the title is the same as the Trance artist who also goes by the name Push. It looked a little interesting, and reminded me of Jumper (2008) which came out a year prior. Now seeing it almost a decade later, I see some familiar faces like Chris Evans (Captain America), Dakota Fanning (I Am Sam), Camilla Belle (When A Stranger Calls), and Cliff Curtis (Fear: The Walking Dead). The special effects were pretty good; not much is visually required for the kinds of superpowers that these characters have. The Matrix does come to mind, but not as cool or innovative. I did spot a Nokia phone though for like a split second, though not sure which model exactly! The overall concept seems cool, but I envisioned some of the action scenes to be done differently.

It was way better than I expected, some concepts are really interesting and it is not plain action, it has something more, it's not basic. Underrated movie.

Started off strong but fell flat in the end. This movie seemed to be setting up for a sequel but it doesn’t warrant one. They definitely dropped the ball on an interesting idea.

I prefer Jumper just a better tighter story and more interesting if am Honest
Cooler power's aswel, but I did enjoy this underrated flick as soon as I saw my man Cap was in it I was immediately sold as I am a massive massive
Chris Evans fan.
I Absolutely Loved the push battles and
The visuals were good the cgi was clean and I couldn't see the strings, it's a bit if a hard watch at time's as if you take your eye off the ball you can lose what the Hella is going on. It's not all out action are sfx and at time's can seem slow and confusing
But having a couple of Marvel guy's in it and face's I recognise saw me through and with Cap being the main Guy made sure I enjoyed it. Definitely a worth once watch again. 6/10

great movie, with a very decent cast.
too bad the characters were just puppets.
would be nice to see a follow up to the movie.
it has a lot of 4400/Heroes/Alphas in it, so if you like those series, be sure to check out this movie.

This is a great storyline with no backup or character development. I don't even know anything about the main characters by the time the movie ended. It could have been way better.

It’s very rare for me to turn a movie off and not watching until the end. This is one of those rare occasions I don’t watch a movie until the end. The story had some potential but the movie couldn’t grab my attention. Had no connection with the characters, I don’t even know who do fuck these people are. It’s almost like that they forgot to ad 30 minutes in the beginning to tell me about these people..

Let's go ahead and get this out of the way now, Push is basically just edgy X-Men. It's a simplistic observation, but it's still true. That being said, the movie is very good.
The overall tone here is serious and more like a spy thriller rather than a typical superhero action movie.
I like how we are just thrown into this world, and not given much backstory, regarding the powers, aside from a monolog during the title sequence.
There is a very strong cast here, except for Dakota Fanning. I have never been impressed with her acting, but it's fine... I guess.
It's funny to think Chris Evans was an Avenger, part of the Fantastic Four, and in this. Dude was just born to be a hero.
Anyway, I think Push has enough going for it that many people can enjoy it regardless of if you're into the superhero genre or not.

I hadn't seen this movie since it came out, and I couldn't remember how it ended. Now, after watching it again, I realize why. It ended like it was waiting for a sequel that never came. Not a bad concept, and a fun to watch movie, but I never connected with the motivations of any of the characters.

I lost interest after about an hour. Forgot who was what because pfft... Great story but whoever wrote the script was bored and wanted me to be bored to. Worked...
