I knew this was gonna be bullshit from the first minute of the episode.
At least, it took the other episodes 30-40 minutes to make you realize you are gonna be disappointed

Other than that, I think they might have tried to insert some of Chuck into it, but in that case the origin story didn't have much time or substance to it. It was still a funny episode, especially having Felicia Day solving her own 'Supernatural' case. :joy:

Personally I wasn't too keen on the first Pooka episode but it was one of the more popular ones so obviously there is going to be a sequel... or is it? Then besides the titular plushie and a short "origin story" this has nothing to do with the first one.
Trying to be "modern" means taking things online so what better than being bullied by the now already tired hyperactive-e-celeb-for-a-kids-audience trope and making up a creepypasta that goes viral despite being TLDR, having no visual media attached to it and requiring buying merchandise to do it. For whatever non-supernatural Pooka this could have had turned out to be it was kinda off-putting and not very consistent slashing some people down immediately, stalking others (and sending text messages), being friendly to some, etc.. If I had to guess this also had rewrites as any drama present was thrown out of the window towards the end and everyone became a "brave" oneliner spouting machine.
