Impressive debut from Director Tom Cullen. Charting the rise and fall of a relationship through 6 years. Different aspect ratios, camera positions and colour schemes follow each of the 6 years, and the ups and downs are very nicely put together. There is some improvised dialogue which sits well and the performances from the 2 leads Jay Duplass and Tatiana Maslany, especially the latter stand out.
Some of the scenes are so personal, intimate and raw that it really feels we are sharing the room with the characters.
A very solid debut.

A small film that shows the swings of a couple, with their suspicions, their doubts and their indecisions. The look into the abyss of a shared future. Actors convey that intimacy of the couple in sometimes impromptu scenes that turn into emotional roller coasters.
