I have a weak spot for movies that in some way makes me feel something, and this movie really does. Throughout the film I'm left feeling angry, sad and diassapointed and sometimes all at once. I also really like Anne Hathaway.
Didn't like it at all.....
"Whatever happens tomorrow, We've had today. And if we should bump into each other sometime in the future, well that's fine too, we'll be friends."
This movie has a few really heartwarming moments, but it is surrounded by loads of frustration and anger (on my part). While it almost takes away from the story, the last act is what people are here for and it sort of works.
very nice movie...
Can't forget those characters...
The film is formulaic but still very watchable. Despite her Inconsistent accent, Hathaway's character is extremely charming with lines so witty they save the film. I wouldn't recommend, I'm unlikely to rewatch but I did enjoy it once.
Two decades of a relationship that engages your heart and pulls at a variety of emotions. Good acting. Good, if not always happy, story. Anne Hatheway carries the emotional core of the film. Solid cast. I give this movie a 7 (good) out of 10. [Romantic Drama]
When they say romantic comedy, you don't expect to get your heart ripped out and stomped on. jfc. Still a good movie, but damn, that threw me for a loop.
One of the best films I've seen in my life
As far as I'm concerned this movie is a bit over-rated.
Hathaway and Sturgess are convincing as always, which makes this film absolutely worth seeing.
This was 3,5 stars for the most part, I was interested from start to finish but Dexter was so annoying. The ending was beautiful, though, the music was very emotional, I'll watch the show for sure!
Nose merecia ese final Emma, muy triste
7/10 good
I came to this movie after watching the Netflix series of the same story, that I gave 9/10.
the only thing I would say that this movie got right over the series is aging the main characters as they need too….
The passing of time in the movie is to fleeting compared to the series, but the series is to stretched out…..
lol no pleasing some people lol
All I can say is watch the movie first, then the series…..
There is something so empty and hollow at the centre of this movie, so devoid of the emotions it's so desperately trying to elicit. A movie about love and soulmates that feels so loveless and flat; boring caricatures plonked into scenes together, repeatedly avoiding the seemingly fated love between them for the sake of the plot, and to sell its cold, final twist. Romance movies live and die by the chemistry they can muster between the leads and the viewer, and this one doesn't even come close to kindling a spark.
Loved it. I think i could even say this is one of the best romantic dramas i've ever watched. The casting is awesome as well as the acting. The plot was great and i am really glad "One Day" didnt make me think "when will it end" even once. The movie makes you want to live, to love. Highly recommend
Wonderful film. Dex’s character is heartachingly relatable.
This movie wrecked me.... I'll have to re-watch when I'm ready for a movie that leaves me drained emotionally. I expected a lot of bittersweet moments but I'm pretty sure I've been crying on and off since 25 mins in.
extreme sadness...I thought people recommend this because is a sweet one, turns out is the most bitter
Okay okay.
I didn't expect the ending but otherwise the novel pulled me ina very wonderful way.
The movie doesn't have an expected cliche in every movie and the way time is shown is certainly adorable, if you stop to notice it.
This was so bad. The movie made no sense, the 2 leads had zero chemistry and I almost disliked every second of it.
Such a sad movie for real..Not the best melodrama movie but still worths a watch for sure..7.2/10
Very Nice Movie.. :) Nice performance by everyone.
Till Emma's death it was just an average movie, but everything afterwards was really well done and touching.
Loved the acting in general but hated her faux british accent, besides that i liked quite a lot.
Liked this film, reminded me about About Time but I preferred About Time. Love the genre though.
Like every other romantic movie, One Day is emotionally manipulative but its big crime is that it is emotionally empty too.
Deeply moving...It made me bawl my eyes out.
The book is WAY better but the movie is good.
my best movie..I'm in love :$

One of my favorite films, and I've seen it definitely too many times! The acting is brilliant, the humor is smart and sarcastic (which I adore), the idea of seeing just one day for years and years always amazed me. And yes, it is one of those films that leave you heartbroken but warm inside even after you've seen it 10 times. I loved the ending, it was sad, but wasn't the classic happy ending of every romantic movie ever.
The best part of it, it's the soundtrack, I am absolutely in love with it.
