Extremely crude and vulgar, Office Christmas Party is completely lacking in the spirit of the season. In a last ditch effort to save his branch from being closed by his sister, Clay Vanstone attempts to land a major client by throwing a wild Christmas party. Jason Bateman, Olivia Munn, T. J. Miller, Kate McKinnon, and Jennifer Aniston lead the film’s all-star cast; but none of the characters are all that interesting or likable. And the comedy is mostly made up of crude sexual and gross out humor. Additionally, whatever message about corporate culture that the film might be trying to make is lost. Office Christmas Party is an incredibly ugly and pointless comedy that hardly delivers any laughs.

I mean, c'mon, not even the bloopers were funny.

5.5 / 10 : starts out very boring (& particularly unfunny), eventually picks up pace and starts having some story as well as a few better jokes, before devolving into random excesses (including up-close genitals solely for shock value), and finally unsatisfyingly wraps up the story with some mediocre hand-waving.
Kate McKinnon and Jennifer Aniston in particular are given extremely inconsistent characters, while Olivia Munn doesn't convince as a 'tech wizard' at all.

Oh man, that was a lot more lame than I was even expecting. It completely squandered is good comedy cast. It's okay to waste some time with, but it's just you're typical "raunchy" comedy. I barely got a chuckle out of it. Very tame.

This movie was pretty shitty. I don't really care though cause I could watch anything I want. Haha

And just like a real life office Christmas party...you debated whether or not to even participate but when you did, you had fun... at first...familiar faces..a couple laughs...and then it crashed and burned into some unfun turd you wish you would have napped thru

This movie is an awesome wild comedy. Predictable. But. I’d watch this again.

It's not as funny as I remember and a little too over the top. This is one of Kate McKinnon's better roles.

I enjoyed the movie for what it is, I had no problem finishing it!

This movie starts slow and completely unassuming. Then all of a sudden it goes full bore crazy.
There are whole scenes were the only thing I could think to myself is WTF...

I'm glad Jason Bateman was available for this.

The weird disconnect trilogy of Horrible Bosses/We Are the Millers/Office Christmas Party, but this is the worst entry of the bunch. The others are hilarious. This wants to be hilarious but is just chuckle funny. I have rewatched this several times and want it to be great, but it doesn't seem to change. The Night Before is a super raunchy comedy Christmas film, and the others are superior comedies with the same core actors. All this to say that it is still good, could just be better.

we as a society do not spend enough time talking about the Jason Bateman and Jennifer Aniston Cinematic Universe

Loud, dumb but definitely a good time, Office Christmas Party is exactly what you'd expect. Obnoxious for sure, but a fun ride with some dumb laughs and heart throughout making for a decent comedy romp.

Predictable but very very funny.
Great group of actors.

Begins well but peters out before the end... but that's not too dissimilar from an actual office party. No Christmas classic then, but occasionally funny and it passes the time.

I was incredibly excited to watch this movie and it was kind of a letdown. I typically love this type of movie but the antics were so over the top that it lost me 3/4 into the movie and then I just finished it to see how it ends.

This was a fun movie. Saw it in theaters, just watched it again today. Holds up. Worth watching once a year just for Kate McKinnon, obvs.

Funny but nothing unpredictable. Definitely had been done before but I did like Anistons role.
