Ode to Joy 2019

While I am a big fan of Martin Freeman, I had avoided this film because I feared that the main character's disease would be the focal point of the movie (and the butt of easy jokes). This is where the movie really surprised me. Instead of using the affliction as the center of the movie, they worked it into the the story in a way that was really unique. In the end, we are left with an intelligent and rather charming film. I really enjoyed it. And watch out for Bethany - she completely steals the movie.

I only watched this for Chrissy Moviestars. Shout out Tom Brady. And I would be remiss not to mention Patrick Maholmes III.

Predictable and a little simplistic. It is quite funny though and Freeman is as good as always.

Not much to see here, just your average, run-of-the-mill romcom.
I was surprised to see Morena Baccarin in this, since I don't see her in enough stuff. Sadly, I wish I'd see her in better stuff...
Hearing Melissa Rauch's actual voice is weird... But her role here was much more enjoyable than that of hers in The Big Bang Theory (her character there always annoyed me so much).

Overall, another forgetful movie that's probably good enough for those into this sort of unpolished mushy crap.
