The kind of film you don't mind stumbling on some lazy Sunday afternoon, but not something to go looking for.
The things we do for Alexandra Daddario.
Brendan Fletcher was fantastic. Interesting story with a solid emotional feel, but I think given the cast it could have been better. It has flashes of potential and some well done scenes, but there are parts of the story that just didn’t stitch together well. A solid “good” and it kept me interested.

- Cooper
Why does every lead cop in these movies live the exact same lives. Ether divorced or heading for divorce, depressed, zero personality and walk through life like Eeyore.

Better than expected. Unfortunately the talent of the cast was not fully used. Small neat plottwist nonethenless.
With a good cast and some good ideas it is disappointing this movie does not achieve more than the average cop crime thriller.
The ideas are there, and at several points the movie tips its toes into intriguing territories. However, it avoids to tackle the themes and questions it sets up, which results in frustrating moments and it lets the movie as a whole fall way below the potential it had. Even though it does not manage to outshine some of the other movies in its genre, it still is a decent movie to watch.
the cast is amazing and yet couldn't save the movie lol, it wasn't catchy at all felt bored and had trouble staying focused, add to it how predictable the plot twist was ...
A forgettable thriller with a decent cast but nothing else to take it to the next level.
The acting performances of Brendan Fletcher and Eliana Jones is what I will remember from this movie. Daddario does one of her worst performances so far and I'm not sure if Cavill still knows that he was in this movie, looked like he just got out of bed throughout the entire thing and just read stuff from a sign.
How could a film with such a cast be so meh! Well, you have to blame it on the script I guess, which castrates the balls from the dark and disturbing premise.
I tried to be more than fair to this film, given its cast. It has Michael Barrett's excellent photography, the original premise is also quite interesting and there are bits here and there where the writer-director tried to flesh out some characters. In paper, it has an outstanding cast. I loved Brendan Fletcher's performance. Eliana Jones is amazing, stealing all her scenes. And that's about it. Nomis a.k.a. Night Hunter has some of the worst acting I've seen lately. Henry Cavill couldn't be more cliché and honestly he's seems like he's just going by the motions, not even trying to be more than your typical burnt out cop. Alexandra Daddario looks so out of place that I was surprised she wasn't edited out of the movie. Her performance couldn't be more flat, totally coming across as a nuisance in all her scenes. Stanley Tucci, Nathan Fillion and Ben Kingsley seemed only interested in cashing their checks, and that's utterly sad. Alex Lu's score is intrusive, and repetitive. Heck, it even sounds like stock fare from any given music library. It's a very disappointing film and pretty good example of a nice premise going the wrong way. This is David Raymond's first "real" film as a director with a "real" cast, and I don't know who was financing this bloody mess, but I hope they get at least a third of it. They made a good choice to make it VOD.
Enjoyable movie with a good cast and a very interesting twist towards the end. Well worth a watch :thumbsup_tone1:
Absolute mess of a film. Don't be tempted by the cast like me. Avoid like the plague - you have been warned.
Night Hunter is a creepy thriller movie that exceeded my expectations. From the start, the movie grabbed my attention, and I found myself getting more and more invested in the characters and their stories as the plot unfolded. The pacing was spot on, and the tension never let up, making for a truly suspenseful viewing experience.
Henry Cavill's hair is better in this movie than it was in Superman!
Interesting story, great actors that should have given better performances. It gets a little improbable with twists at the end, but it could have been explained if they had spent anytime on that part of the story.
Not a great movie but it was filmed in Winnipeg and that made it worth watching. Loved the ending.
With this cast it could have been so much better.
There is too much going on. The actual plot gets lost in pure chaos.
What a incoherent trainwreck. Boo
Certainly not a great movie, but a slightly underwhelming movie. A lot of talent in this movie was severely underused.
The story was actually quite interesting as were the plot twists.
How I rate:
1-3  = seriously! don't waste your time
4-6  = you may or may not enjoy this
7-8  = I expect you will like this too
9-10  = movies and TV shows I really love!
Didn't expect much, and usually thrillers fail to impress me. This one was no different: I'm not sure how, but I got the plot twist at around 30 minutes in the movie... However there are a couple of strong scenes that are memorable.
Also I would have loved to see the villain a little bit more explored, they for sure had the time since it's a very short movie.
Anyway it was kinda interesting, Ben Kinglsey, Brendan Fletcher and Henry Cavill did a good job (didn't hurt that Cavill was such an eye candy in this one).
I really tried to stick with it and finish but I just couldn’t. Boring, confusing and just in general uninteresting
Confusing, boring, weird. Could have been so much more, the potential was there with the cast.

interesting and unusual story - sometimes a bit confusing, but overall a very good movie with great actors and characters - entertaining!
