Mascots 2016

Not laugh out loud funny but still amusing mockumentary comedy that will please fans of Christopher Guest's previous work.

One of the weakest Netflix originals so far, Mascots uses a very boring documentary format that doesn't get us invested in any of the characters and the films third act is the only part of the movie that is worth watching. The cast of fairly talented comedy stars is wasted by a painfully unfunny script and a concept that gets old after about ten minutes.

A satire of whiteness featuring an ensemble cast.

I don't know how to describe it, but I like it.. it was a fake documentary type film and in the end I actually wanted to know more of the life of the characters after the show. It's not the best movie but for me it was entertaining

If, after watching Pitch Perfect, Pitch Perfect 2 and the trailer for Pitch Perfect 3, you still want to watch something in that vein, there's this. Or you could watch Pitch Perfect again.

LMFAO, ROFLing! I LOVE IT! No, it's not the type of humor/format as what some are use to nowadays. BUT for those old enough to remember the formative days of Jane, Fred, "Stifflers Mom", Christopher Guest and and rest of the amazing casts in Chris Guests older comedy/mockumentary innovations like "Best in Show", A Mighty Wind", "Waiting for Guffman"... this is right up there with the best of those.

For folks who don't get it (unless the format's just not ur cup of tea (def can seem like dry humor if you u haven't seen other of Guest's classics) check out 'Best in Show' and ya might get this newest addition.
Chris Guest 'invented' the hilarious style that is mockumentary and this is a great addition to the collection!

Not terrible, but considering it's Christopher Guest, very disappointing. Only a couple of the characters i found funny or engaging.
