Cathartic to be sure, but an uncomfortable mix of message movie and revenge flick.
Female helmed rape revenge film. It is no less sleazy than the male created rape Revenge films.
Not the usual "rape victim revenge vigilante" genre film. It's a look at rape and date rape and the way college campuses treat the victims and perpetrators. It looks at how the act of not allowing yourself to be a victim can lead to great self confidence but also ruin. Boffo performance from Francesca Eastwood and unflinching, matter of fact (instead of the over dramatized, over the top) rape sequences stand out here. Not a perfect film, but a sobering film going experience. 7/10

I love to watch Clifton but the writing is weak. I can’t recommend watching this
