Raven Goodwin carried this movie(at like, 8! a scene stealer!!)and I’m dead serious. Talented as hell and has been forever, I wish she’d get meatier roles that let her show off her range but she’s still doing so well these days.
Otherwise the movie was fine. Good, even. It’s a typical, sleepy indie that makes you reflect a whole lot even though sometimes you’re like ‘okay, yeah they characters are so real and human, I get it’ lol. Also, I know them being weird about black people is sort of the point(or one of the points)but my goodness, nothing reminds you that time actually has passed than watching anything pre-2010. Dark days for real lmao.
