Thanks to two golden retrievers and a young girl, a woman (Shantel VanSanten) and a naval officer (Rob Mayes) fall in love during the holidays.
An unhappily engaged woman begins to regret her choice of fiance, while a lonely naval officer returns to his home town facing an uncertain future. They are brought together over the Christmas period by two dogs and love blossoms as they both become involved in a production of A Christmas Carol.
