London Has Fallen 2016

I've got what I expected. As a fan of 80s movies as Commando, etc. I love sometimes watch this type of movies. Don't find anything there, it's just action movie with all it needs.

Was invited to an early showing of the film and for those of you thinking of going to watch it.. don't bother, unless you are a fan of 80's action cinema and are able to switch your mind off to the inane and brutal action on screen. The premise is implausible - I mean would the world leaders really gather in mourning for the UK Prime Minister, in one place! Its doubtful the public would line the streets either!

Too violent for a 15 certificate, glorifies the killing of others, and excuses use of drones to wipe out terrorists.

London Has Fallen? Hollywood has fallen more likely!

Jesus!!! The americans came and saved the world!!....again!

Terrible movie that is factually inaccurate with a lot of fear mongering and xenophobia. It also has some pretty blatant racist undertones as well. Skip this one, don't waste your time.

loading replies

6/10 for the movie. 2/10 for the xenophobia.

loading replies

Eh. The action in this is okay but it's just more of the same as the first one. Including the kinda racist/don't F with Merica attitude as the first one. No rec from me.

I’m loving the Has Fallen series of movies. Awesome CGI and action sequences. Gerard Butler and Aaron Eckhart pair up very well, the latter as the POTUS and the former as his key secret service agent right in the middle of the action. Morgan Freeman bring his awesome self to play the Vice President who’s left to make tough decisions in the middle of all the chaos. Outstanding! :flag_us::ok_hand_tone3:

Nice american bullshit propaganda movie.
PS. -1 for propaganda

Hard to believe they made a sequel to Olympus Has Fallen but they did. This time it’s London that gets attacked by terrorists but to my surprise, the US president happens to be there too! This president has seen a whole load of action that’s for sure.

Gerard Butler reprises his role as the bodyguard tasked with ‘getting the hell out of there’ and Aaron Eckhart is back as the pres. It’s formulaic schlock but London Has Fallen does have a couple of zingers up its sleeve (I don’t know where Fuckheadistan is but it sounds bad) and the action sequences on the ground towards the end are surprisingly good.

This is contrasted by some of the shoddiest CGI work I’ve seen in years. For instance, the initial explosion is seen from a helicopter looking down on the streets of London, but it looks more like the explosion in The Dam Busters than a terrorist attack.

London has Fallen is without doubt a load of old cods, but its tongue in cheek humour and half decent final assault put it one slight cut above the bargain bucket straight-to-DVD fare it belongs with.

Best way to watch this: go into kitchen, grab a beer (or more) and some snacks, leave brain in kitchen. That way you might get some entertainment out of it. But even those steps don´t cover for the crappy CGI. All in all I´d take any 80s action movie over this one.

terrible! not worth the time... they basically just had way too much budget to spend on special effects and got pretty bored.... absolute let down.... wouldn't recommend at all!

This movie made me anxious a lot. They justified bombing other countries with "it's better than to do nothing". I mean wtf :)? You've bombed someone home, they'll bomb yours. I'm against wars, but the first who started this is to blame. Stay away on your land and there will be peace in this world. If it's how every american thinks, than I'm glad not to live in USA. Who ever get this idea to justify killing in such manner is disgrace. This movie proves that USA is sick and imperialistic, and basically all terrorists movement in the past 20 years is USA to blame.

pathetic patriotic fearmongering bullshit ... first 15 minutes is enough to facepalm. PR movie for white house to sell the tax-waste for the war on terror to the public. Not worth the money to watch this - or even the time

What a let down, loved the first movie. This just doesn't have the same bite at all, and shows how important a great director is to a project. Gerard Butler is great again as the wise cracking Mike Banning straight out of an 80's action movie, however the graphics, and direction let the whole movie down.

What a completely shameful waste of my time. I want two hours of my life back.

loading replies

Daymn.. i thought they will show the last scene when krypton dc was about to fallen and Banning sending his newborn son to another planet.

It's an enjoyable movie for brain dead audience.

1/10

This was such a letdown. I loved the first movie but… can't even describe it.

Stupid, stupid, stupid waste of time and money. I should've listened to the critics this time.

Gerard Butler is a bad ass and this was an entertaining movie, simple as that! Don't bother with anything else, its fun to watch!

loading replies

As in sequels, they have bigger everything, but rarely the plot.

loading replies

More bad assery from Butler. He was made for these kind of films.

London Has Fallen is a dumb action movie with no story or any development, and that's what I was expecting going in and that's what I got. I would be lying if I said I didn't enjoy myself watching this movie, because I did (for what it is). There were a few good actions scenes that was pretty well done and Gerard Butler makes for an enjoyable lead. I know this movie isn't suppose to be taken too seriously, because you would look like a right fool if you take any of this movie serious, but i can't pretend or act like i don't see the major flaws in this movie. I think the biggest thing that really hurt this movie is the noticeable CGI, which is absolutely awful and looks completely unfinished. Aaron Eckhart basically plays the male version of a damsel in distress and Jackie Earle Haley doesn't even do anything in this film.

Overall, if you want a movie that's non-stop action and doesn't make any sense at all, but you want to have a good time, then London Has Fallen is the movie for you.

Incredibly fun and entertaining, London Has Fallen is an explosive, high-adrenaline action film. During a state funeral for the British Prime Minister terrorists launch a massive attack and it’s up to Secret Service Agent Mike Banning to get the President out alive. The plot is kind of ridiculous, but it works in an action movie kind of way. Gerard Butler once again delivers a great performance; doing an especially good job with the stunt work. And the special effects are extraordinarily well-done, creating some riveting scenes of carnage as London is turned into a war zone. A wild, non-stop adventure, London Has Fallen is full of thrills.

More of the same from the first one. Some bad CGI and eye rolling moments make this one less enjoyable.

loading replies

I love how the story was made. I love the sequence of the actions - how synchronized the teams of the enemy were. Watched it twice on a same day.

loading replies

Totally implausible, mindless, loud, violent, and silly. Turn your brain off, and it's mildly entertaining action fare. But there's much better ways to spend 1.5 hrs.

Typical sequel really. Better CGI; worse storyline. Fairly entertaining still, but the first was definitely more coherently plotted.

Ya Gerard Butler really has a way of showing spots of interesting performances when he acts but by film end you usually have just enough of his "macho-gun related" personality that your looking for the end to arrive. Very typical plot and ending is dependable. Many scenarios leave you scratching your head at the director wondering " Do they not realise that people will quickly notice that absolutely NOBODY is out in a city of what 4-5 million people?".. Ya its a movie you are good watching once.. then just simply move on...

What is there to say about this one, other than...If you liked the first one, you will most likely enjoy this one as well.

It's even more silly, more over-the-top, more explosions. and...it works. I enjoyed it...will more than likely never see it again, but I enjoyed it.

Definitely action-packed, so if you liked the first one you'll definitely like this one. Plot is very predictable though.

That is a kick ass USA administration not the wussies, androgenic, all political correct, pro Islam administration we have on the real life.

loading replies

This is an OK minus action film. Gerrad kills lots of bad guys, never hurts himself. Feels kinda like Call of Duty and some fun action scenes.

However, the movie has no climax point or peak and when its over, you feel greatly unsatisfied.
The CGI is poorly made. Aaron Ackhart has about 10 lines..

Like really bad sex.

6/10 low priority on your watch list.

London Sucks, Olympus Rocks. Please make a movie with Mike Banning and Bryan Mills together

I knew who was the mole since the beginning of the movie. Anyway, it's good if you want to disconnect your brain and just watch endless fighting and shooting scenes...

So far beyond believable that it's a total waste of time. Lots of explosions and action but its too far fetched. Boring!

loading replies

This is the most remarkable action movie. Full of GREAT Action and FX. It is GREAT!!

loading replies

The movie was not as good as the first one... Gerrard Butler was still awesome and bad ass... ruthless in fact. But the plot was too shallow.

loading replies

Entertaining and with lots of action. How on Earth so much terrorists have infiltrated. Were all in London? Gerard Butler is a mixture of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jack Bauer for how to kills enemies
