Like Father 2018

Great movie, funny and poignant at the same time. Kelsey Grammer is great and Kristen Bell is her usual adorable self. 9/10

A movie with a very good story, but if you're looking for a feelgood movie, than this may not be the movie you're looking for. The lesson in this movie is that you need to take some time for youself/family and that work is not everything. Kelsey Grammer, Seth Rogen and Kristen Bell really performed well in this movie, but sadly for the other characters they didn't get much backstory or whatever to actually connect with these people.

This movie really had some great/funny moments (Like the karaoke) and the story is really good, but this movie is not really a comedy in my eyes. If it was labeled Drama or something like that I would have given it a 7, but it didn't really lighten me up like I expect from a comedy.

Enough to be a feel-good movie? No. Enough to be a feel-good Royal Caribbean commercial? Way too much.

Half of it is a decent movie with two good main actors, and even Seth Rogen being not terrible and annoying.

The other half is the longest cruise ad I've ever seen.

This was a good movie. Kristen Bell and Kelsey Grammer were the draw but the movie was more than I expected. Usually, unlikable characters cause me to lose interest but I'm glad I hung in there - these characters filled out as the movie progressed. Good acting. Nice storytelling. Stupendous commercial for Royal Caribbean Cruiselines. As a side note, comedian Seth Rogen, a Canadian actor, played a Canadian in a very likeable, vulnerable way, but, is it my imagination, or is there a new American trend to poke fun at the Canadian image of being nice (maybe a little naive and simple) people? Well, I guess the haters could do worse. Notwithstanding the possible poke, I give this film a 7.9 (nicely good) out of 10. [Dramedy]

This is mostly a chick-flick (is that still a thing or even politically correct?). But it guys can enjoy it as well. Its a sweet story. Likable characters. I mean come on, Kristen Bell. I do however feel that Seth Rogen was wasted on this part (but not literally wasted).

Besides the plot which is heartwarming, you should totally give this movie a watch because of Jim and Steve who are the cutest couple ever. They can't seem to stop talking about their to-be-adopted child. Great work with those two.

Amazing movie. I love every bit of it. The ending touched my heart.

Perfectly likeable comedy drama that is a little bit predictable, but refreshingly free of too much sentimentality. If you can cast aside your cynical side, like me, you may enjoy this movie more than you expected.

I've never smoked anything in my life.
-Jeff (Seth Rogen)

Completely predictable comedy (almost a dramady) starring the very likeable Kristen Bell and Kelsey Grammer as daughter and father. Kinda wished they were both in a better film along with their characters. Seth Rogen also shows up in a meaningless bit part to apparently deliver the above quote as his biggest joke, so now you don't really have to see the movie.
