First time I got choked up watching an Adam Sandler movie. Very enjoyable.
This is the most enjoyable animated movie I've seen in a long time. Funny, touching, great message, clever, somehow formulaic and yet unique at the same time. Enjoyable for kids all the way up to adults.
A great animation that I enjoyed very much from Happy Madison Studios that had a good sense of humor and plot with a heartwarming message. All voice cast did well and loved the flying robot, cracked me up and definitely should of had more screen time. I think the studio should definitely make more animations other than live action.
Pretty solid animated movie with some funny moments. Nothing special though.
This was a very enjoyable movie to watch. Adam Sandler voicing Leo helped make it so good.
the kids liked it.
I found it infuriating.
Unexpectedly quite fun.
Happy Madison Productions and Netflix teaming up for an animation flick hardly sets the pulse racing and as such I was, perhaps naively, anticipating 'Leo' to fall rather flat. Happily, I was wrong. It does a great job at merging meaning and humour, I laughed a fair bit.
My negative predictions were almost confirmed as soon as Adam Sandler starts talking in this 2023 film, as the voice he puts on was one I thought was going to be very grating. However, again, that was not the case. He makes it work and then some. Bill Burr is also a pleasant cast member. The rest of the voice bunch are good too.
The musicial elements aren't the most fitting, though in all honesty don't drag the film down all that much. Overall, a relatively exceptional movie.
Some of this film was good a funny
But parts had really weird bad morals and the entire film was bullying the talkative girl just did they seriously need to make the characters FALL ASLEEP that was so extremely rude
Wholesome movie. Fun, lovable.. just a good watch!
This was really cute! A bunch of adult themes and sprinkled in humor for adults! Far from a Pixar quality film, but’s damn good…especially for a Netflix film! I will surely watch this one again!

Diamond in the rough. Very good. I put off watching it, having low expectations and when we watched it I thoroughly enjoyed it. Original in its own way. GG.
I went into this with minimal expectations, as Adam Sandler is not normally my cup of tea. His brand of humor is usually too broad for my tastes, often over-the-top and full of slapstick. This film still has some of that DNA, but not only does it work much better in an animated film (where visuals can be more creative and physical gags aren't limited by something as silly as physics), but its also in service of a story that surprised me with its heart and depth. This is far closer to a Toy Story or Over the Hedge than I ever would have expected out of a Netflix kids movie. It delivers not just one, but a whole collection of positive messages for kids in a package that adults will also enjoy. This movie deserves to stick around as a classic.
I will note that the animation is quite simple, a far cry from Disney or Illumination. But the creators made it work, turning limitations into a stylistic choice that still allowed for creativity and flair - there's a lot of cute animation in this movie (the design for the kindergarteners was hilarious/genius). And while I already commented on the Sandler-esque elements of the humor, the movie also has plenty of more clever dialogue and ideas that had me chuckling throughout.
This is the only cartoon in a long time that actually made me laugh, and not just one time. Very funny and sweet. With a good story and morale.
And no stupid Disney-like woke propaganda, thank god, none of that non-binary/trans/etc bs brainwashing for kids.
The only downside for me was a lot of singing, it would be much better without it, felt very Disney-ish and not in a good way. Even though lyrics in those songs was typically funny.
Anyway, lots of fun for kids, recommended!
A great film, featuring a simple plot, but very well executed. It contains several funny and even reflective moments about life and the process of growing up in childhood.
had no idea this movie was a musical. the trailer gave no hints it was. why are there so many musicals recently that are not advertised as such. why make a movie or buy the distribution rights to a movie you have to lie to the audience about a significant portion of it's content. it's weird
other than that I did enjoy the movie even though the music parts was off-putting and surprising.
Much better than expected. The songs are weird, yet they kinda work. One of Netflix's hit.
I'm not a big Adam Sandler fan. I consider only a couple of his films to be really objectively good. But I ended up liking this a whole lot more than I expected to.
Side note: It's so nice seeing an animated movie that doesn't have those god-awful Turning Red/Luca/Bad Guys circular mouths. I'm so tired of that horrendous design, and it's nice to know not everyone has adopted it.
Had it's funny moments... it wasn't terrible.
Quite ok, but the singing is not entirely successful... not every animation needs to have songs. ;>
Surprisingly sweet with a great voice cast.
didnt expect anything from this movie and i hated like the first 5min .. but after that
omg its amazing and made me laugh alott ... a very good animation
Not bad. It won't hurt to watch.
OMG! I loved it! I had low expectations but it was funny, adorable and has so much heart. A must watch!
One of the best movies I’ve seen in long time. Good story, great message and moments to laugh out loud. Superb!

I woulda liked this A LOT more if it wasn’t a musical. I love musicals but this being a musical took something from it, in my opinion.
The story was cute. Leo is adorable.
Just be prepared for a LOT of singing.
