It makes an excellent PSA for not drinking alcohol. Like others have said it's a very melancholic watch. I did have to wiki-search to see if one of the characters was real (I consider that a plus)
Ifans is very good but by its very nature, this is a mostly miserable affair. It’s well made for the most part but the poetry of Thomas is more interesting than the film.
