A lame sequel from Disney.

After the sparky 'Lady and the Tramp' from 1955, 2001's 'Lady and the Tramp II: Scamp’s Adventure' is anything but. This film creates a premise which focuses on Scamp, son of Lady and Tramp. It's a very bland plot, which is entirely predictable in every way.

There are a few decent voice talents here, notably Chazz Palminteri (Buster), Rugrats' Kath Soucie (Cocker Spaniels) and Mickey Rooney (Sparky), though they are wasted by the dull nature of events and its poor dialogue. Jeff Bennett, who does multiple roles, admittedly is mildly amusing as the Dogcatcher.

Some of the songs are OK, while the animation is at least acceptable. A less obvious storyline would've went a long way.
