Knocked Up 2007

Wasn't as great or funny as the 40 Year Old Virgin, but it was funny nonetheless.

This is funnier than the first time I watched it. I guess because now I can appreciate how many hilarious comedians are in this movie. Plus, it helps me appreciate This is 40.

What the hell? What did the rest of the world see about this movie? I saw a movie with an awful script, poor directing and even worse acting. First, did you relate to any of these characters in any level? I hated all of them. I spent the whole time trying to figure out if I was supposed to feel sorry for them or loathe them. Loathing won out. And how many times does an awkward scene just fade to black, as if it could have been removed from the movie as it served absolutely no purpose.

Funny movie that your girlfriend probably is also going to like. But nothing more...

Second viewing because I just discovered it had a sequel. I remember it being great. Already gave it an 8. I was surprisingly amazed at how little I remember of the whole thing which made it more enjoyable. Great characters. The leads are amazing. Not a second of boredom with this movie. Had many out loud laughs. The cast are so lovely. Great story with good humans and f*cking great script. You know it's a good script when every line feels improvised. 8/10

8/10 for a comedy. Writing is great. Worth a rewatch.

Knocked Up is a hilarious comedy that will have you laughing from start to finish. The film's humor is bold, raunchy, and unapologetic, making it an enjoyable watch for those who aren't afraid to let loose and laugh out loud. This movie is definitely not for the faint of heart, but for those who are able to let go and not take life too seriously.

Has its moments.

'Knocked Up' begins with more cringe than enjoyment, but belatedly turns into something worth watching. The story is comical and silly for the most part, but gets serious here and there and ends up holding a positive message.

The cast list is absolutely stacked, there are many familiar names. Seth Rogen, Katherine Heigl, Paul Rudd, Leslie Mann, Jason Segel, Kristen Wiig, Ken Jeong to name just some. Pretty impressive. Heck, even Don's buddy Stormy Daniels is in there.

It made me laugh in a few moments, nothing belly laugh worthy but I had fun with bits of it for sure. Rogen and Heigl are extremely solid together, the latter particularly does well. I will say the run time is a little too long, these type of comedy films tend to work best at 90mins in my opinion.
