A new view on the single cop defends a precinct under attack. This time the cop is black, a woman and moving around with crutches.
It's quite long to start, but once the shooting begins it's not bad. There's quite the tension while hopping around trying to defend both entrances with inferior weapons. Amusing distractions with the guys playing cowboy.
There's no real novel idea, but it's well done, it works nicely.
Got to say though, even if they are supposed to be the good guys, the cops are really easy on the trigger and on the violence, and in a very casual, unquestioned way. Even the heroine. And I don't mean after the shooting match started, I mean before the story starts, when they're dealing with day to day stuff.
All the bullshit with the son is seriously annoying. From the first moments with his attitude, through his involvement, and to the absolutely expected pseudo emotional reconciliation.
