Not terrible. Definitely have to suspend belief a bit for some aspects. Some cool kills, but would have been better if even more rapists got killed and they outed the frat at the end.
Terrible. Whole movie is reading super long texts on screen. Teens do not write long texts like that without abbreviations.
the general plot feels like Black Christmas (2019), without the condescension and the revealed killer feels like Roy Burns twist in Friday the 13th: A New Beginning. it was slow for most of the movie with a pretty low uninspired kill count, but i didnt hate it, to be honest, it was decent one-time watch overall.
A decent modern take on classic slashers, but lacks creativity. Not bad for a lazy afternoon watch, but don't expect much.
I figured out who the killer was half way through it
Initiation is a pretty good digital age horror/slasher. It doesn't offer anything new but it's a nice throwback that put together really nicely. The kills were graphic and gory enough but I wish they're more creative. It gets the message across without trying too hard. It gets boring at times and the killer was kinda obvious but I had a fun time guessing. The motive behind the killing was surprisingly make sense, not some baffling and illogical nonsense.

Better than I expected. Not scary but it will please fans of the slasher genre. The real horror, of course, is the college coverup of frat boy rapists that is threaded into the plot here.
