In Your Eyes 2014

This movie was amazing. It's so cute and romantic but not in a cheesy rom-com way. Joss Whedon sure knows how to write one hell of a story

1.) Worth Watching!!
2.) Great Story / Acting / Direction.
3.) Unconventional Plot : which was amazing.
4.) If you are looking for Romance.
definitely watch this, you might explore different angles.

The story is surely unique but as a slow movie (which is only a fact, not a minus) it really ends so abruptly. you have little action and then boom, at the climax it ends. Really weird feeling.

If this movie works at all, it is because of the chemistry of the leads. If you're looking to wrap yourself in a somewhat-syrupy movie, this movie will probably work for you. However, everything beyond the main storyline is really mediocre. This movie is best described as a Hallmark movie that happens to have a notable actress at the top of the billing. I was surprised to see that Joss Whedon wrote the film.

Unique story but still falls a little flat

Quirky and charming, In Your Eyes is a supernatural romantic drama written by Joss Whedon. The story follows a boy and girl who form a telepathic connection as child, and then later as adults learn how to use it, becoming close friends with an intimate bond. Zoe Kazan and Michael Stahl-David have great chemistry together and give good performances; especially Kazan, who has a knack for playing goofy and eccentric. But there isn’t much of a plot, and what plot there is is all crammed into the last act. Yet Whedon writes the character interactions so well that the lack of plot is almost forgotten. An unusual love story, In Your Eyes is entertaining and fun.

Sci-fi movie with a sweet romantic twist... Unique and fun to watch.

Another gem by Joss Whedon. This is my second time watching this movie. It is on my Movies To Watch Again List (that is the watershed criteria for movies I rate 8 or over). Great storytelling. Great premise. Beautiful romance. Good performances by dramatic leads (previously unknowns to me). Wonderful supporting cast with some familiar faces. It's a feel-good movie. I give it an 8 (great) out of 10. [Romantic Drama with a SciFi premise]
