Honey, I Shrunk the Kids 1989

I love this movie!!! Think I need to rewatch it soon! It's so funny and the effects are brilliant.

I loved this movie when I was a kid. Still love it as an adult now.

This would be completely different if it was a horror film.

Better than I remember. A great deal of the comedy is actually Matt Frewer, not Rick Moranis, who plays his role as straight as you can with a stereotypical absent minded professor. This is not to belittle Moranis's work (pun intended), but the majority of the fun in this movie actually comes from the "kids." Family fare to be sure. Fun fact: This movie was actually developed by the producer and director of "Reanimator": Brian Yuzna and Stuart Gordon.

Started out fun and I like the characters, the story is fun.

It's just that after a while it kept being more of the same and the jokes didn't do much for me.

Was looking for a Movie on Disney+ that my Daughters might enjoy and stumbled across this Classic, I loved this Movie as a little Kid so figured they would enjoy it. They Loved it and after rewatching I forgot how good this Movie really was..Gonna watch the rest of them now with them.

This was a film I saw many times as a kid but probably haven’t watched since childhood. Maybe it’s the nostalgia talking but I think it still holds up very well and I enjoyed the rewatch. My toddler is still too young to enjoy movies but even he had his attention on the scenes with the giant bugs.

To be honest I hated it: didn't like any character, didn't like where they went with the story.
Very good job with the scenarios tho, some are really impressive and the attention to details is incredible, but that's about it.

Despite being unoriginal, it is very funny
