I started once watching this some time ago, I can't remember why I didn't finished at the time. Today I caught it on tv and finally watched it all.
This tells the story of Bernie LaPlane a very peculiar individual, who one night helped to rescue 54 passengers from a plane in flames after the plane crash right in from of him! After rescuing the passengers he disappeared. One of the persons he saved was a tv reporter that offered one million dollars to the mysterious hero who saved all of those people. Funny fact, he left one of his shoes behind and so it started the pursuit of "Cinderella". The problem is, the man who claims to be the hero of Flight 104 is in fact someone else.
Hero is not just an entertaining film but is also something that deliver us some questions about morality. It's a very clever satire of the world we live in. The social critique about how people can be manipulated by social media is great and what's interesting is that afterall this still happens in real life nowadays.
All of the actors deliver great performances but is Dustin Hoffman who steal the show in every scene he is in. His performance is amazing!
