Well... It hurts. A lot.
This film made me nervous. As a gay man, I felt I was watching not a coming of age story nor my own story of dealing with conflictual feelings regarding my sexuality as a teen...I just felt as though I was watching some perv's excuse to film pubescent boys wrestling with their shirts off. What could have been a beautiful, sensitively told tale of coming to grips with homosexuality ended up being David Hamilton soft core porn with children.

Tale as old as time, and well told. The themes are very well handled. But this film could have been great with better-paced editing!
Avoid if you can't stand characters who refuse either to say or act upon what they're thinking.
