Marche ou Crève (Head Above Water) wants to show you the frustration, the pain, the irritation of loving and caring for a sibling with autism. The film succeeds so well (thanks to some difficult directing choices by Tatiana Margaux Bonhomme and a heartbreaking performance by Jeanne Cohendy as the autistic sister) that you will want to walk out of the cinema. And that's the point. You can walk away from that suffering, but what about the people who face this situation in real life? Marche ou Crève is a brilliant and hard film that I have to recommend but wouldn't wish on anyone.
