Still such a blast. The humor actually works really well, which is rare for these horror throwbacks, and the gore is fantastic.
This is a fun comedy-horror movie. Lots of fun kills. Belt sander kills are never not fun.
Very fun slasher! It has everything you want from a slasher awesome killer with a cool backstory, well done over the top gore and some dumb victims. The humor works well too and the ending was the cherry on top.

Fun ride, it's more of a comical Friday the 13th really. Credits come up quite unexpected setting up for the sequel!

Hatchet is a fun, self-aware 80's slasher that is not made in the 80's. Typical bad guy, silly characters and over the top kills that look good. I also really dug the ending. Victor tricked Marybeth big time!
