This was a sneaky-good little movie. Sure, the premise has been done a zillion times, but it was done fairly well. The two leads have extra chemistry, and it was refreshing to see Berrymore in a role that isn't cutesy. I think much of what separates this movies from other romcoms is that the secondary characters are very good. This is especially true for the bros in the group - normally they are very cliche, but Sudeikis and Day are fantastic.

Do not watch it if the person who's with you on the room is a puritan because it's very uncomfortable. Trust me, you don't want to do it. Besides that, the storyline is really poor. Some of the problems they point out about living a long distance relationship may be realistic, but I think some are really stereotypical. Also, I hate the conversation Garrett have with the married man of the movie. Why do people need to portrait marriage as a living hell if they are not obligated to be with the person? Just move on and do your thing.
Anyway, give it a try with REALLY want it. But I wouldn't recommend. You will be better off watching something else.

As someone who has had a long distance relationship before, this movie has a lot of moments I could relate to. Also, I am a sucker for romantic comedies that aren't trash and this was pretty good. Helps that most of the characters are played by hilarious actors. I want more movies with Justin Long!
I have feared this might be too much of a chick flick but I have actually quite enjoyed this movie. What made it nice was there were not a lot of graphic sex scenes and focused more on the story and the struggle of a long distance relationship.
