Worth your time, especially on a rainy day.
I didn’t know there were so many Non Spanish speakers in the Puerto Rican National Police? And an empty hospital after a weather disaster? And all these famous paintings in a building and no one asked what the fuck? Sorry I was so focused on mundane stuff that I forgot to watch the movie. My wife said it sucked. I believe her. :type_4:♂
Very average. I Excepted much better from Mel Gibson.
Wow... Haven't seen anything of this 'quality' for a long, long time... :joy:
:heart:x7
This movie surprised me. It was much more enjoyable than I expected it to be. I bet the actors hated making it tho - they were in pouring rain in every scene.
How I rate:
1-3  = seriously! don't waste your time
4-6  = you may or may not enjoy this
7-8  = I expect you will like this too
9-10  = movies and TV shows I really love!
Force of Nature is a decent action film that provides some entertainment. While it is not one of Mel Gibson's best performances, he still manages to bring his trademark intensity and charisma to the screen. The film is well-paced, with plenty of tense and exciting moments throughout, and the story is engaging enough to keep the you interested. Overall, it may not be a groundbreaking film, but it's still worth a watch for fans of the action genre.
An almost empty building, thieves and a rainy tornado, it's entertaining, it's good to pass the time. Mel Gibson better than Bruce Willis
Waterlogged thriller is lumbered with silly dialogue and boring plot points.
Force of Nature is a mediocre straight-to-video action film. The story follows a pair of cops who run into a group of criminals pulling off a heist while an apartment complex is being evacuated during a hurricane. Starring Emile Hirsch, Mel Gibson, David Zayas, and Kate Bosworth, the cast isn’t too bad; though their performances are rather lackluster. And the low-budget shows in the limited locations, sparse sets, and lack of background characters. Still, there are a couple of decent fight scenes and a bit of suspense as the heist unfolds. A rote and formulaic crime thriller, Force of Nature is a forgettable film that doesn’t aspire to much.
A waste of good pixels.
First of all:Watch "Hard Rain" instead. Better plot, better cast.
So, Force of Nature. I saw the Trailer. And I thought it just was....hilarious!
Over the Top 90's Action, a little bit of, a litte bit trashy, but okay. The trailer-cutter was good, so was the Trailer. And Mel Gibson? Come on, he had his hit-and-misses, but a movie with him can work.
So everything was in place.
I mean, nobody would expect a GOOD movie, but a trashy, fun one.
Right? RIGHT?
Boy, was i wrong. This movie is not trashy bad, it's bad-bad. Mel Gibson has about 30 minutes Screentime and they just waste his performance potential way to often.
The overall Look and Script are pure non-sens with way to little good dialogue or humor in it. Only Zayas took it really professional and acts the best.
But you have to give the production the creidt for all the Rain and Water scenes. That look like it was a pain in the a** to shoot this.
But the result, man, it could have been so much better. but it's not.
Really disappointing.
Yeah...
This one wasn't all that exciting. Gibson did a decent job as a cranky, sick, and old retired cop, but everything else was just about as mediocre as I was expecting. Stay away so you don't have to waste an hour and a half as I did...
Poor acting, bad plot and story. Very predictable. Ummmm not really much positive I can say. Much worse than I expected it to be.
If it's free why ask for credit card?
Awful don't bother 0/10 1 of Gibson worst films
Very poor. At least I managed to watch it thru. Poor story, poor acting. The storm was more action then the story itself. Don't waste your time.
I think this is one hot pile of s.....

Decided to give this one a look because the synopsis made it sound decent. Also, I was expecting much more from Mel Gibson, but his was really just a supporting role with little effect. (He played the part of a soured old cop well, though, to his credit.) The best thing I can say about it is that it didn't suck as bad as some movies I've sat through. I really didn't have a hard time watching it, like some of these reviews seem to sound, but I wouldn't watch it again. For one thing, they never really explained what was happening. (I promise you, if you didn't read the synopsis, you'd have no idea.) The story was just supposed to unfold as you went along but it sort of "dissolved" rather than "unfolded"; made absolutely no sense, and was very disjointed throughout. Apart from that, there were some decent action scenes that made this worth detaching your brain and sitting down for 90 minutes. Sadly however, anyone with a brain could see from a mile away how this one was going to end...and that in itself was just utter stupidity. Would I recommend sitting through it once? Meh... Take your chances. Just be warned that this is NOT a "Mel Gibson" movie so don't expect much. Expect a very generic semi-action flick with some decent effects and you won't be disappointed.
