Absolutely awful. So awful it is actually brilliant! Turn off your brain for 90 minutes and enjoy!
It aims to be Die Hard in a football stadium, but takes too many missteps and ultimately fails to score. It's a miss!
Final Score - :heart:x7
This is an okay actioner. This is not dissimilar to Two-Minute Countdown (1976). In other words, we've seen this kind of movie before.
Sadly Bautista didn't really bring any kind of flair to the roll, but it's still a good watch.
How I rate:
1-3  = seriously! don't waste your time
4-6  = you may or may not enjoy this
7-8  = I expect you will like this too
9-10  = movies and TV shows I really love!
I've been a fan of Dave Bautista since his days as "Batista" in the NWA/WCW and I was one of those who really thought he would make the great crossover - from wrestling ring to big screen - quite easily. Unfortunately, that has not been the case, nor should it come as any surprise since his in-ring persona never really developed any kind of "personality" (unlike Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson). Dave's main strength was always his incredible physique and his sheer dominance inside the wrestling ring; he never really developed as a "character" and his mic skills were limited. He hasn't made the switch very smoothly and it's still pretty evident here that he's not fully developed as an actor; what he DOES have - just like in the pro wrestling arena - is that incredible physique and presence. If he can learn to balance that with some acting chops, I see him going the distance on the big screen. Unfortunately, Final Score didn't do him any favors as it was completely unoriginal and a bad makeover of some other action flicks. It was nothing more than your typical "bad Russian guys take entire stadium hostage and one ex-soldier is caught in the middle" action movie: not terrible, but completely forgettable. As so many have pointed out, this was a makeover of the Sudden Death movie with Jean Claude van Damme…and just as atrocious. For fans of action movies, this one can be a fun watch, providing you have the ability to disengage your brain and tolerate some absolutely ludicrous moments throughout the film. For those who prefer a touch more plausibility in their watching, however, I would give this one a pass.
Watched this for Bautista and.... Well, just turn off your brain and enjoy the whole brainless action flick thing.
Not a bad movie, (absolutely) not a great movie.
Not a bad action movie but keep an open mind when the bike chase scene starts ... wow :))
As generic as possible, but I loved that security guy played by Amit Shah.
on the edge of my seat throughout definitely a barn burner, a must see.
Die Hard 1.5
•Bombs (Nakatomi x Stadium)
•Local helper with knowledge (Airport x Stadium)
•No answer via police radio frequency (do not use it, please)
•Thrown dead corp infront of police as proof
•Counting bad guys and marks on hand
•Killed bad guy (brother in Die Hard x Lover here) = revenge guaranteed
Thousands of viewers and he can see Danni over whole stadium.
Bad guy escapes with girl and they pass uncle just infront of him
---They can choose better daughter, this one is ugly---
Waste of time 15%
I tried to imagine that it's Bruce Willis... then I tried it with the Rock... but couldn't make it... I really tried...
Pretty lousy action film. It's a bottom-barrel Die Hard/Sudden Death knockoff. Way too much bad acting and laughable fake accents, and not enough thrilling action to make it worth it. As much as Bautista is coming into his own as an actor, he shows off zero charisma or acting skills in this one.
Film has some good actors in, like die hard but in a football Stadium. It's a good film, not brilliant but worth the watch for sure.
This movie was great! Sudden Death with Dave Bautista! Such a ton of fun. Great bad guys, great sidekick, great acting by the daughter, and Bautista does what he does best...own the screen and whoop ass. Totally fun!

I really enjoyed Final Score, it was a good action movie with things that are impossible but still cool. Kinda had a Die Hard feel to it which is always good. Dave Bautista was awesome in it, hearing him swear and seeing him kick ass is always awesome. Bonus that Ray Stevenson has a big part in it too... It had it all humor and over the top action.
