[9.3/10] Really cool video. Using the Let’s Play format for narrative media is an interesting choice, and the whole film is a nice bit of recursive glory. There’s interesting commentary about soldiers coming home from war, and the usual dark humor that comes from mixing video game extremeness with real life drudgery.

But the video kicks into another gear when it starts doing games-within-games and video walkthroughs within walkthroughs. There’s a nicely done commentary on everyone playing these games for escapism from the rigors of real life, and to find a sense of purpose that missing within it. While the recursion element falls into some “whoa dude” territory at times (especially after the credits), that tack does convey the theme well, and the filmmakers have fun with it.

Overall, it’s a nice use of the Adult Swim house style for these videos, which mix surrealness, black humor, and poking fun at the tropes of games and gaming culture to genuinely say something, and do so in a fascinating and creative way. Excellent video.
