This movie is released the same year as the Eastwood/Hackman flick Absolute Power with the same basic storyline. Can you guess which one is better? You know this one is going to be sub-par when our secret service agent Nick has retreated to farm life for 3 years after he and his partner help cover up the death of the President's tryst in the Oval Office. Well, Nick has grown a "beard" in this time that more resembles a 10 year old playing Abe Lincoln in a school play. Later, after Nick gets shot by the pool, Susan has to drive for their escape. Of course the car starts right up. I guess the director forgot that the two had stolen the car and were hot-wiring it to get it started each time. When we finally get to the "surprise" ending and figure out who has been chasing them all along, you just don't care. The ending is completely execrable (thesaurus word because it is sooooo bad).
