This is a masterpiece in Brazilian cinema. As someone who is from Brazil and came from poor areas near the slums in my city, I could relate to a good chunk of this movie. It highlights so much of what happens on both sides and Capitão Nascimento is one of my favorite characters of all time.

Agreeing with everyone, it is very gritty and raw in the best way, it is like canned chaos at times and I am here for any part of that lol

Great Brazilian movie. Disturbing at times but it shows how corrupt can the whole government and police be.
