Eight Legged Freaks 2002

I really loved this one. Kinda old school monster movie.

David Arquette has the best "scared" face of all time!!!

Eight Legged Freaks works best with while drinking beer and hanging out with good friends, but it also works as a distraction when you are supposed to file boring paperwork. How do I know?!? Don't ask!!!

As a fan of the Science Fiction movies of the 1950s, I was excited to see this as it undoubtedly pays tribute to those flicks. The mood of the '50s was present, but some of the choices (talking spiders, David Arquette) were wrong.

The CGI is bad and frankly it should have been better. The way that the spiders moved was distracting. And speaking of distracting, Kari Wuhrer...well, I don't remember what she did but she looked amazing doing it. Scarlett Johansson is in this too, but it's a minor role so she's not a factor.

I like the spirit of this movie, but it's bland and cliched and too long.

Movie was Ok but music director sucked, he made me angry by using unwanted spider noises, BTW they are Spider's not pigmies from The Mummy Returns

Arachnid World: Fallen Town

If you can get passed the ugly special effects this one's really fun. Such an easy watch. Because the effects are bad and probably cheaper, we get a lot more of them so it's non-stop giant spider action. The characters are fun and comical, great B-movie comedy, David Arquette makes the funniest faces, Scarlett Johansson is a teenager, lots of cool different spider species and they make the weirdest sounds it's ridiculous. I always find myself rooting for the spiders. Favorite part might be the Cat vs. spider scene. Guilty pleasure all the way!

I want to see Consuela vs. a T-Rex. I think she's ready!

"No one's going to believe me, cause I'm a kid, and they never listen to kids."

Not much to expect out of this creature feature, but I was surprised to see Scarlett Johansson in this! David Arquette is trying his best with what he's got, but there is one thing that I was impressed with: the CGI actually looked pretty decent!

I don't know what I love more: the movie or the poster.

A fun campy sci-fi bug horror comedy with big nostalgia factor! I clicked as soon as I saw Dewey on the poster. There's something so charming about old creature feature films. This film is packed with a lot of cheesy and funny moments and some really intense ones. The desert landscape reminds me of Them! (1954). The CGI is bad for today's standard but it adds the charm. The characters are so energetic, quirky, and fun to watch, especially the conspiracy theorist guy. It's silly but I LOVE the cute noises those spiders make. Extremely entertaining!

Old school 1950s monster horror meets modern day silliness. Theres a reason something like Tremors, which builds the world and characters works, and something like this, which well, doesnt. It's silly and weird, why the sound designers went for giggly sounding spider noises I'll never understand.

It's spiders, man!

Nothing too special but entertaining in an old skool monster movie way.

Meant to be a horror but to be honest just makes me laugh. So unbelievable, but still a funny movie to watch! Don't get me wrong, if giant spiders took over, I'd be terrified!
