You want action, you got it. Two hours of it. Unfortunately not much else but this movie is very entertaining. Sure it's Enemy of the State meets The Fugitive with a little Minority Report. In fact you could have taken Tommy Lee Jones' Agent Gerard and dropped him in place of Billy Bob's Agent Morgan with a seamless transfer. The production is slick and heavy on expensive stunts but Shia pulls off the lead surprisingly well save for some of the ridiculous jumping from heights stuff.
The most boring movie I’ve seen so far omg
Add some impossible jaw dropping scenes, some high speed chase, and Shia Leboeuf to a bowl. Mix these trusted ingredients together, and you’ve got a great action flick.
Now this is entertainment. Full of action and high speed chases, doesn't matter how similar the story line is to other movies in the same genre, if you enjoy action movies as I do, this move is just what the doctor ordered.
This movie definitely has a different feel with the invention of Gen AI, and AGI.
This movie is fairly prescient.
Im looking at other's comment, we must see two different movies, what is and what could be.
This movie came out in 2008, watching in 2023 knowing about ChatGPT, definitely pushes this film to great for me. I didn't have to suspend my disbelief because everything is plausible in today's world that happen in the movie.
Also great casting.
Major suspension of disbelief is necessary when watching "Eagle Eye". There is a lot of far-fetched technology of which some might exist but much of this movie borders on absurd. The coordination of events involved in leading Jerry Shaw (Shia LaBeouf) on his "mission" had me rolling my eyes. Still the action sequences were paced well and as was the case in "Indiana Jones 4" and "Transformers" LaBeouf is a likeable lead actor. The biggest drawbacks were a couple of hard to follow car chase sequences (they moved too fast) and a tacked on happy ending.
this without a doubt was the best movie I have ever seen in my whole entire life. strap yourself in and get ready
for the most adrenalized experience you've ever had.
I don't really have anything to say about this movie. It was a decent watch. That's pretty much it.
Upped to 9 on my 3rd time seeing this awesome thriller that is suspenseful from the get-go. The reason it is not a 10 though is because Jerry Shaw lives and it "ties up into a bow"
One of my favourites, such a great film.
A surprisingly good movie, if you suspend your disbelief a little while and don't focus too hard on what is or is not possible...
Eagle Eye is a good movie with an interesting plot that keeps you engaged throughout the film. The acting is top-notch, and the movie features some great performances from its talented cast. However, while the story is intriguing, some aspects of it could have been made better to make the plot more realistic. Despite this, the film is still a thrilling ride, and the suspenseful atmosphere is maintained throughout.
Wow, I can't believe David Fincher made this. To be fair, Fincher does look like the type of guy who would make a movie like this.
Here's the context: www.youtube.com/watch?v=icnV96YlFvc
This Spielberg production had me rolling my eyes for at least a whole hour.
Just another movie where an AI is smart.

Do not be alarmed by these comments. You haven’t lost your mind. All the people here are clearly talking about a totally different movie. Just a glitch in the database.
