the "fuzz" about the trailer it´s true, it does ruin the movie a bit, but not the whole story. If you can, watch this movie without seeing the trailer first for a "twist".
Good acting from Daniel Craig and the plot twist it's great and doesn't expected. this is an underrated movie.
Daniel Craig is good in the lead, while the premise is an intriguing one. However, it doesn't quite come together cohesively enough to be enjoyed on a major level.
I didn't dislike 'Dream House', I found it alright to be honest. Craig (Will), as alluded to, is enjoyable in the main role, with Rachel Weisz (Libby) and Naomi Watts (Ann) being solid supports. The casting is probably the best thing about this film. It's the execution of the plot that holds it back.
What's produced is watchable, but doesn't - at least for me - connect on any hearty level. The final act is a little clunky and messy, despite a nice reveal earlier on in the 84 minutes . It's definitely an interesting concept, but it's mostly a wasted one by the end. Reportedly, along with director John Sheridan, Craig and Weisz disagreed with the producer's final cut - no blame to them, if so.
Craig, the idea and the run time stops this leaving a negative memory. I likely won't revisit it, but it's an OK - if underwhelming - production.
So this movie is basically a cheaper weaker remake of shutter island the plot twist is not as effective or as creative. The ending was sad which is why I gave it a 6 and not a 5 but seriously don't waste your time, it was recommended to me and it really is overrated.
Thought it would be a mediocre movie but it was entertaining. I was able to guess both of the main twists but still pretty good.

Starts with decent thriller in first half, follows mystery in the second. Have nice twists, not bad at all. Cinematography of ending could've been better.
I have never heard of this movie until I started watching it. It was on TV and I had nothing else to watch so I decided to give it a go.
It was surprisingly good and kept my attention throughout the movie. Allthough I have seen better movies, Dream House is definitely worth watching.
