This is probably the most famous DBZ film, it is the only one I ever heard folks talking about when I was in school. Obviously the only thing to really talk about is Broly, nothing else matters here. He is practically the Incredible Hulk if he was a Super Saiyan, when you see the brutality in his fighting style and the menacing design in his transformation, it is nothing but pure awesomeness and entertainment. Once it gets to the action it's nonstop amazingly animated battles from the beginning to end and the action barely even slows down, it'll have your attention from start to finish. I absolutely adore the fact that we see quite a handful of characters fighting the villain simultaneously, great fan service right there. A lot of moments even left me asking how are the heroes possibly still alive?
I'll be honest though while some folks might praise the hell out of this one I definitely see some problems with it. While the concept of Broly is incredibly awesome his backstory is incredibly stupid. His father is the one who has real motives behind his actions while Broly is technically just motivated by a crying infant...If you ask me Paragus is the actual villain while Broly just follows him around and eventually steals the spotlight from him. As a matter of fact they should've given Vegeta the spotlight in this film, Broly despising Vegeta makes a hell of a lot more sense than the reason they gave for his hatred of Goku. Two major ass pulls in the film really bothered me, the first one being Piccolo's sudden appearance, he literally comes out of nowhere, his role could've easily been fulfilled by anyone else that was already there. The second one is the way Broly is defeated, it was like a "Power of Friendship" Tea Gardner moment from Yu-Gi-Oh, it truly gave me the impression that the writers wrote themselves into a corner by making a villain so powerful. I actually could go on dissecting the story but I think I've said enough lol.
I really think they should've omitted Broly's name from the title to at least try to build up a mystery of who the Legendary Super Saiyan was.

"You, Kakarot! I choose you to be the first of my victims!"
After seeing the teaser for Dragon Ball Super; Superhero I was ready to watch some of my favorites from back in the day and why not watch the one which debuted one of the more populair villains of the Dragon Ball World, The Legendary Super Saiyan.
It always has been one of my favorites out of all the Dragon Ball movies. It has humor, a great villain, fun action, has 3 super saiyans fighting together, Piccolo even shows up and the way Pegasus dies is still brutal. It is just classic Dragon Ball. I just never seem to get enough of this.
Anyway, Dragon Ball Z: Broly - The Legendary Super Saiyan is always 70 minutes well spent.
