Don't Look Away 2023

It Follows meets Slenderman meets the Weeping Angels from Doctor Who... but it's a plastic mannequin instead. I dig the idea, not original at all but it had potencial for a horror movie. The mannequin never moves or changes and that's part of his gig but it's also lazy on a filmmaking level. I liked the fire scene and the Don't Breathe copy. A few fine kills, i'll give it that. It deserves a bad acting award and there's not much of a story or characters.

I'd say throw this one in the recycling bin!

Super low budget. Some of the gore effects were good, but it seemed like the actors had never acted before.

Everything about this film was bad, especially the acting which made it hard to watch, somehow I got through to the end but I having done so I feel qualified to advise others not to waste their time on this.

You cannot convince me this isn't some sort of commentary on auteur horror and cynical Hollywood cash grab adaptations of creepypastas.
