I have just finished watching this film and I have to say this is one of the most underrated films of 90s with great performances from both Laurence Fishburne (John Hull) and Jeff Goldblum (David Jason) who both as characters get darker and darker as the film goes along and unfortunately the film has still got some relevant stuff in it. Honestly, I was expecting this film to be very generic but Bill Dukes style of directing really shows as he knows how to build tension but he also knows how to tell a story that develops characters really well as all the characters in this film from the start to the end change dramatically.
If you like films about Undercover operations then I promise you that this film will be for you because it takes this genre and just makes it so much darker.
