Based on a video game, Company of Heroes is a low-budget, straight-to-video WWII action film. The story follows a US Army unit during the Battle of the Bulge that learns that Hitler is secretly developing a super weapon and embark on a mission to find and destroy it. Featuring Tom Sizemore and Vinnie Jones, there are some decent actors in the cast; but the performances are pretty weak. Also, the sets and costumes look rather cheap. Yet there are few exciting fight-scenes and chases. Company of Heroes is a cheesy attempt at a war film that doesn’t work.
