One of Steve Martin's worst movies!

i've watched this movie so many times and it never gets old. a really funny movie.
I can see where folks that grew up with this movie would like it. I'm a fan of the Clifton Webb version so this did nothing for me. Steve Martin does his best with substandard material.
A great original family fun feel good comedy about a family of 12 and how things suddenly change for the parents as they both get the opportunity to chase after their career dreams and they have to balance that between their big family. The plot development is good, especially the nice twist having a narrator in the beginning to set it up. Despite there being many main characters the film does a good job of letting the audience get to know each one well.
A classic family movie that brings joy to the screen as this plot follows a family of 12 and the parents struggle to take on their dream jobs all while maintaining the importance of their relationship with their kids. From beginning to end this film is comical, relatable and heartfelt as the character development and relationships between the characters blossoms over the timeline of the film.
*Fun, Light hearted, Wholesome, Uplifting.*
_Although it took a few minutes to warm-up, the movie held my attention and ended beautifully.
After reading several reviews about this movie, I was reluctant to see it. I went only because my mom said that she was going -- with or without me. I was expecting to be bored and disappointed. What a surprise.
Although Cheaper by the Dozen probably won't win any major awards, it WILL entertain you.
If you want to see a fun, light hearted, relatively wholesome and uplifting movie, this one qualifies._

Come to find out, my sister had never seen this movie! I had to show to her and it still holds up perfectly! It’s a fun family flick with a superb cast. While the second isn’t quite as good, this one is one of my childhood favorites!
