This movie very much felt like an 80s movie where there is a big competition at the end. Doesn't Bill Nighy deserve better than this? For what it is, it isn't bad.

Cut out 20min of scripted nonsense and it would have had its charm.
Shit movie, female lead ends up with a guy who has lied to her and his girlfriend. Is he all of a sudden a good guy?
No. He is (apparently) good looking and that makes it all ok and everyone can forgive him for being a lying, cheating sack of shit.
