This isn't as bad as the reviews let on. Cage has taken on a bit better roles lately, and there is no changing his acting style. I found the movie depressing in areas to see how greedy humans can become over time. The scenery was amazing, however.
Like a nature screensaver or wallpaper: pretty to look at and pretty predictable.
Butcher's Crossing is exactly the same as the Deadliest Catch except with bison instead of crabs and the 1800s instead of the ocean. Oh, and worse actors.
