Brainscan 1994

This is a awesome flick from the 90's.
Unfortunately it's not wellknown.

It's like INCEPTION not with dreams, but with a virtual computer game.
I love it when you don't know if you're back in reality or not :)

I HOPE THE MAKE A REMAKE OF THIS ONE DAY!

For a cheesy, goofy teen horror movie from the 90s I thought it was pretty entertaining.

A good concept but not the best execution. Brainscan is cheesy 90's teen horror but it's not nearly fun or entertaining enough to stand out in that subgenre. The acting and dialogue is terrible but I really like the score. Trickster does some cool tricks but he feels like Freddy Kruger from Wish. His interactions with Michael get repetitive and annoying. The CD-ROM, computers and TV did not age well but it gives it nostalgia. I see the necessity to include the investigation from the police because the objecive of the game is to murder without getting caught but that side of the story could've been better. Got boring from time to time. The reveal of who Trickster is followed by a few cool visuals was the best part. Good ending and begging for a sequel.

A great CD-ROM game.

Back when I was a teenager in the 90’s, this was one of my favorite movies. It was a really cool and original movie for it’s time, but it’s very much dated, and very 90ish if you know what I mean. I would still recommend giving this one a try.

It's a Moody and typically 90s horror flick for teens. And while it's hokey and a little over the top, it's still entertaining. My only problems were the cop-out ending and the Trickster guy was kind of annoying.

Good for a while but it becomes silly
