I found this to be a very poor follow up to the original Blair Witch Project (1999). It lacked any kind of originality that was in the original. Go (re)watch the original Blair Witch Project (1999) instead of this.
not as entertaining as the first movie. no clear sense of direction and the plot feels loose all the way over. felt like watching a bad tv show pilot. I heard there's a recut version of this movie that's supposedly better.
The studio clearly had no idea what they had on their hands with The Blair Witch Project, as evidenced by the atrocious sequel Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2. The found footage style is abandoned, and instead labels itself as a “re-enactment” of real events. But the story is little more than that of a stereotypical horror film, and makes little to no sense. Something is trying to be said about the reality of film, but it’s lost in the convoluted and inept storytelling. Book of Secrets: Blair Witch 2 is an uninspired piece of garbage with no scares or suspense.
Better than the handheld get me sick part 1.
The movie unfortunatelly grown old badly. As for the production made on the wave of the first film the overall evaluation is not so tragic. I've seen worse sequels. ;>
okay guys. That movie is not even close to the first one. It is a totally typical horror movie.
You have see this in a lot of movies: BUT !
The ending is so great is so great: it will just flash you.

Okay right off the bat,
The original was never going to be topped by any sequel, and this movie knew this so they went a very clever and genius way of playing off that the first was just that.... a movie and that
sets up shit to get real in this movie.
I love that me,
This movie is so underrated and so
unappreciated it's almost criminal.
Shit is happening all over the place
and never let's up from start to finish.
It ties in perfectly to the first awesome movie and the characters put on an amazing performance and the story is so interesting and is sold perfectly.
It's genius how they utilise the cameras to tell the story and even us the audience
can not trust what our eyes are seeing.
This movie really brings the audience along and involves them in the story and the situation
like no other movie has done so before.
Then you add things changing in the background and foreground in each scene as quick as one frame,
well it's genius and I've never known
another movie do it so damn well.
Then we have to play the movie backwards
at the end to unlock

Their is no way this movie can be anything else
other than a 9.5 because it is frickin Superb.

Will live on for
Many,many,many
More lifetimes with a lore as strong as this.
