There is no way any movie can live up to a title like that.

Schlocky extreme low budget splatter madness from one off director Shinichi Fukazawa. Shot on extremely grainy film at parts off focus with practical effects, stop motion and photo collage. All sound is dubbed. None of the actors have since developed careers in acting and rightfully so. And finally, THE MOVIE TITLE IS MISSPELLED IN THE DVD MENU.

So bad it's good but it's still terrible but it's also fecking awesome.

Expect a Japanese love child of Bad Taste and Evil Dead and you're on course.

A solid trashy horror fun that delivers exactly what it sets out to deliver. I'd rank this higher than the entire Evil Dead saga because it’s shorter and I love how sublimely eerie the haunted house is.

As if the title alone doesn’t already pull you in, it also self brands itself as Japans Evil Dead right on the film poster. How could I pass on that?

And it was actually pretty good. Sure, the camera they used did a better job picking up the crunch of their actors footsteps better than it did actual images, and at times the picture would get wavy as the camera would pan across the frame. All part of the charm. The Evil Dead homages were there plenty, the gore over top, great uses of stop motion. Nice and short to not overstay it’s welcome.
