Meh... It was watchable, but it felt campy and the acting wasn't really good. It felt more like a family comedy, rather than a horror comedy. So adjust your expectations before going into it.

A sweet, touching, funny dramedy/road film. Instead of a true horror, it comes across more as a low-key family drama featuring vampire protagonists, so some probably won't consider this a horror film. I personally love this. It's great at subverting conventional vampire subgenre tropes to create a sweet father-daughter bond. Great performances all around. You'll find some corny parts of course but I find myself becoming invested into the characters. It accomplishes the family and coming-of-age drama perfectly, creating a wholly unique flair. Those expecting a gory bloodsucking vampire action might be left disappointed. I definitely recommend this if you’re looking for something different.
